OUR EXPERT PARTNERS
Partnering with experts to improve safety across our technologies
We've heard from parents who want to play a larger and more active role in their teens' online experiences. For years, Meta has worked to elevate parents' voices when it comes to online safety. We do this through press engagements and our Screen Smart events, where we educate parents on our teen safety tools, features and resources, and ways parents can be more involved in their local communities on these topics. We also work with external groups and partners to identify and uplift experts' voices to help provide tips on how parents can have productive conversations with their teens about social media use and the importance of age-appropriate experiences.
Parent voices
At Meta, we're committed to empowering families in the digital age, which is why we launched the Meta Parents Network – a group of passionate, community-driven parents who aim to amplify their voices in support of their teens having age-appropriate online experiences that allow them to continue to create and connect with others.
